Apple Preperation and Wash
Most commercial apples produced in the US today are coated with a wax or preservative to keep the apples fresh longer. The problem with this is, if you are using your apples to make candied or caramel apples, the caramel will not stick to these coatings, making it nearly impossible to coat an apple evenly. This is a very big concern, as the coatings are often difficult to remove.
However, our Apple Preparation and Wash mixture is designed to remove these coatings completely. Simply submerge apples for 10 minutes, and rinse with clean water. Dry your apples, and they are ready to dip! Best of all, the solution is reusable! Just filter the wash, and use it again for as long as the wash remains effective. Evenly coated, delicious, and beautiful caramel apples are much easier to produce with our Apple Preparation and Wash.
